  My mother and grandmother both go to Dr Kaplan so naturally when I noticed a suspicious spot on my temple I made an appointment with him too. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years now and he has always taken great care of me and genuinely cared about me and my well being. My last appointment in January he checked my eyes and eye lids and noticed one pupil was slightly smaller than the other one. He asked if I had any other symptoms going on and when I told him I was having chronic headaches and neurological problems he urged me to see an eye doctor to get it checked out, but he also reassured me it can be normal so I wasnt too worried. Well the eye doctor referred me to a neurologist and I ended up having a brain tumor that I had to had surgery on. So basically, he saved my life. I will continue to refer people to him because he has always taken good care of me and I have never had any problems with his front desk staff like some of the other reviewers have. I will, however, say that once I saw Julie and she was not someone I would ever go and see again, terrible bed side manner.

  After an extremely unpleasant experience with an incredibly rude reception called "Helena", I was reassured by her colleague that their supervisor, "Sara", would contact me in an hour when she got back from lunch. 24 hours later and Sara never bothered. With this kind of management, no wonder the staff is so incompetent. Rude and careless, and obviously guided by profits alone. Find yourself a more human experience where you will be respected and treated fairly.
